Marj Delights Caribbean Goodies is a small business that brings the rich flavors of the Caribbean to the heart of Toronto. Located at Market 707, a unique shipping container market next to Alexandra Park, this delightful shop offers a variety of mouthwatering treats, including Sweet Bread, Currants Roll, Pone, and many other delicious goodies.

To enhance their visibility and attract more customers, Marj Delights needed a charming sandwich board chalkboard sign to promote their offerings in the bustling square. Fortunately, the owner had a sturdy piece of particle board ready for transformation. I crafted a design that harmonizes with her existing menu banner, and then meticulously sanded, primed, and painted the sign you see today.

The layers of background paint beautifully smoothed out the roughness of the board, while the remaining texture added a unique charm in line with the original design. Now, this eye-catching sign allows the vendor to easily update the names, prices, and laminated photos of her latest specials, making it a practical tool for boosting sales and engaging with customers.
