CLTO Family Fun Fair Copy

Blue Morpho mural for Community Living Toronto Family Fun Fair 2025

Community Living Toronto supports people with an intellectual disability and their families. The Family Fun Fair is a big summer bash, held at the old Harold R. Lawson School (now being redeveloped into inclusive residential towers). Hundreds of people came out to enjoy burgers and hot dogs, live music, face painting, games, bouncy castles, and time with family and friends. I spray painted a blue morpho butterfly on the brick wall near the entrance to the fair, to create a fun selfie/photo spot, and to commemorate Community Living's time in the building. It was very popular! Young and old had fun posing to have their pictures taken. CLTO also put up a writing wall, "Memories of Belonging" for people to leave memories and notes around photos of Community Living members and staff.
